​Thanks for coming by! I'm Katelyn, a marketing strategist and wannabe horse girl who loves a good bowl of soup and a sarcastic conversation.

It's been a journey to get here, but now that I am, I love it. I once thought I wanted to be an elementary school teacher, then a social worker, and now marketing is my passion. This field offers a large space to be creative and strategic, which are two things I have discovered an innate passion for. ​​​​​​​
For fun
I grew up in what my mother coined "a hockey family," I played competitive soccer, and love going to my siblings’ sports games. I have a deep appreciation for sports, and the intense, competitive, but satisfying atmosphere of it all.

Along with sports, in my free time, I like to watch almost any reality TV show (Vanderpump Rules and Love Island hold a special place in my heart). I also enjoy trying different restaurants around Winnipeg and making memories with friends.

Red River College Polytechnic
I started the Creative Communications program in August 2023. During my first year, I got to sample the different majors: Public Relations, Advertising & Marketing, Media Production, and Journalism. In the second year, I majored in Advertising & Marketing, honing in on skills specific to the industry.
